Business Development Representative

Telent is seeking a new team member for the Sales division within Network Services. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking individual focused on outbound sales to join our team. Your role will involve building and nurturing relationships with new and existing customers across sectors such as Emergency Services, Public Sector, Government, Utilities, and Nuclear.

This is a junior-level role offering a structured entry into a career in Technology Sales / IT Sales, supported by formal training and a personal development plan. You will work collaboratively with the Sales team at our Warwick and Camberley offices, with at least one day per week at each location, and may need to travel nationwide for client meetings. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are highly desirable.

As a Business Development Representative, you will support Telent’s go-to market strategy by gaining product knowledge, researching target accounts, creating outreach campaigns, generating leads, and supporting sales activities.

We seek candidates who are sales-driven, resilient, self-motivated, and capable of conducting research, outreach, and lead generation in a B2B environment. Experience in outbound sales and a university degree or equivalent are preferred.

You will undergo training during your employment, with regular coaching sessions to develop your skills and obtain a certified qualification in new business prospecting.

Key requirements include relevant sales experience, research and outreach skills, resilience, and a UK driving license. Experience in IT, Networks, Security, Telecommunications, or Radio sales is advantageous.
