Business Development Representative (UK, Hybrid)

Telent is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our Sales & Marketing team within the Network Services division. The role involves building relationships within the Emergency Services, Public Sector, Government, Utilities, and Nuclear sectors. The position requires working through a Telent training plan and collaborating from our Warwick and Camberley offices, at least one day per week, alternating weekly.

Responsibilities - What you’ll do:

• Develop comprehensive knowledge of Telent, our services, and the markets we serve to effectively educate prospects.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to support pipeline growth by researching target accounts and key stakeholders.
• Create and manage campaigns for prospect accounts based on territory research.
• Engage in targeted outreach via phone, email, social media, and creative methods to generate interest and promote Telent’s offerings.
• Follow up on inbound leads from marketing, converting them into meetings and new business opportunities.
• Analyze and report on weekly activities and pipeline development efforts.

Qualifications - Who you are:

We seek resilient, driven, self-motivated candidates with relevant sales experience, especially in outbound sales. Ability to generate and identify new leads using various tools is essential. Experience from other industries is welcome. A university degree or equivalent, with some office experience, is preferred.
