Job Description:

Idex Consulting has partnered with an accomplished employee benefits and pensions administration services provider that is looking for talented individuals to join their team.

Client Director/Senior Client Director is responsible for the strategic commercial development and operational management of client relationships and service solutions for an agreed portfolio of clients.

The role involves identifying and implementing commercial development strategies, working with the Client Portfolio Leader, and collaborating with the Portfolio Operations Officer to enhance operational effectiveness across the client portfolio. The goal is to achieve targeted commercial outcomes while mitigating business and commercial risks.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage key client accounts effectively.
• Oversee daily client and operational activities based on KPIs.
• Understand client needs, manage risks, and follow procedures.
• Drive growth in client revenue and contribution lines aligned with internal targets.
• Implement creative financial and contractual solutions as a commercial lead.
• Lead and manage teams efficiently, maintaining quality service at competitive fees.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
• Manage costs and provide financial information for business and audits.
• Support mentorship and professional development within the team.

Experience & Technical Knowledge:

• Proven business development and account management experience, capable of managing multiple high-growth accounts and operational delivery.
• Experience in pensions management, understanding challenges faced by employers and trustees.
• Knowledge of administration operational delivery.
• Experience with defined benefits and employee benefits.
• Operational delivery experience, including onshore and offshore.
