About the job you’re considering

As a Client Director, for one of our prestigious Group accounts, you will be responsible for driving the major transactions for Capgemini UK. You will lead, frame, and drive business opportunities, leveraging Capgemini Delivery teams. This involves shaping propositions to meet client needs in collaboration with Sector Leadership, Service Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and Proposal Development teams, with a focus on closing deals and achieving targets such as bookings, revenues, and profitability.

Key skills include the ability to understand complex Capgemini business propositions and use them to guide client conversations, focusing on measurable Business outcomes. Client need discovery and issue resolution are critical skills, applicable from early relationship stages through ongoing account management.

You should have in-depth knowledge of the Global, Consumer Products, and Consumer Health industry, understanding business drivers and trends across Modern Trade and Emerging Markets. You will work with client executives and their digital, data, and technology teams, connecting solutions from innovation to transformation and digital operations.

Hybrid working: Your work location will vary, combining company offices, client sites, and home, but not 100% remote.

Your role

Working with the Client team and management, you will create and drive your pipeline aligned with overall account strategies. Developing new revenue streams and propositions will be key focus areas.

Account management involves understanding the competitive ecosystem, maintaining communication across distributed teams, and ensuring alignment on account goals and challenges.

You will be a key representative of Capgemini to the client, engaging with various organizational levels and expanding relationships at the executive level.

This role offers a significant opportunity to lead and grow a large account and develop your career as a Client Executive within Capgemini, with high growth potential. You will also participate in monthly reviews with high accuracy in forecasting account activities.

Your skills and experience

  • Proven experience managing complex accounts over €25m with multiple stakeholders, preferably in a global account within the last 3 years.
  • Strong leadership and gravitas to operate at CxO level, selling and delivering consulting and tech engagements.
  • Expertise in Customer, Consumer, Supply Chain, and R&D domains within Consumer Products.
  • Background in System Integration Technology delivery, understanding retail industry challenges, technology solutions, and operating models.
  • Led and sold at least three +£10m GBP TCV application solutions deals to FTSE 350/Fortune 500 companies, with references available.
  • Focus on P&L management and reporting at pursuit and client levels.
  • Experience with commercial models, estimation, pricing, TUPE regulations, and complex MSA & SOW documentation.
  • Experience in solutions involving offshore/nearshore delivery, solution crafting, and value articulation.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and operate independently or as part of a team.

To be appointed, you must meet security clearance requirements, including residence in the UK for the last 5 years, and other criteria. Some roles may be restricted to UK nationals.
