About the role

'Great' Client Directors deliver more than ideas and projects; they are trusted, inspirational advisors to both colleagues and clients.

You must have experience in managing corporate communications projects, preferably in both print and digital. You must possess outstanding interpersonal skills with an ability to set budgets, expectations and deliver results, as well as possessing strong leadership skills. You will co-ordinate our consultants, designers and artworkers on a wide range of corporate communications projects

You will have the opportunity to build relationships with some of the world’s leading companies. Our clients include some of the largest FTSE 100 organisatons, as well as international companies. Our projects range from pure print reporting delivery, through to integrated brand, digital and communications projects.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with senior clients and a deep understanding of client’s business environment.
  • Successful delivery of projects in a timely and professional manner.
  • Retention and motivation of a high-quality client team.
  • Consistently strive to improve systems and processes within the department.
  • Effectively manage project over runs.
  • Contribute to new business.

About you

You are an excellent communicator with the confidence and ability to inspire your colleagues to delivery exceptional work. You possess a successful track record in managing large-scale corporate reporting projects, building exceptional client relationships and managing project revenue.

Strong client management experience at Client Director level and experience of:

  • Annual/Corporate Reporting
  • Shareholder communications
  • Corporate communications
  • Sustainability Reports

Ideally, some account management experience of:

  • Branding & Identity
  • Internal and External communications
  • Communication consultancy
  • Investor Relations

Possessing the following will be advantageous:

  • The ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders, partners and internal resource to ensure the best outcome for both client and the team at Design Bridge and Partners.
  • The ability to conceive, prepare, author and give key presentations to clients, present to large numbers of people and manage question-and-answer sessions.
  • Possess great knowledge of clients' business, whatever the sector, and be able to discuss knowledgeably with the client.
  • Able to leverage client relationships for introductions to additional business units and brands.
  • Capable of achieving the best possible outcome in every negotiation in which you take part.
  • Anticipating, defusing and resolving conflict between colleagues and clients.
  • The ability to set, monitor and deliver projects and tasks within agreed financial parameters, and understand, interpret and report on all financial aspects of the role.
  • Capable of setting up processes to ensure knowledge is shared across all relevant sections of the team e.g. internal training.
  • Familiar with interview and selection process and able to act as an ambassador for the Company in candidate interviews.
  • The ability to track and improve team utilisation while understanding its relationship to overall client profitability.
  • Capable of providing a supportive working environment, based on openness, trust and regular constructive feedback on performance.
