This FTC Specialist, Client Development role is a strategic opportunity to support our high-growth Technology and Life Sciences (“T/LS”) team, reporting directly to the London-based Director of Client Development, and working closely with the client development leaders of the Technology and Life Sciences business units (“BUs”) and their teams. You will work closely with T/LS partners and cross-functional teams to drive business development through market insight, client targeting, and compelling storytelling that differentiates Goodwin in a competitive landscape.
The CD Specialists responsibilities include supporting initiatives that align with these group’s marketing and business development plan; organizing client relationship-building activities and tracking business development activities. These projects will involve working with all functional areas of the Client Development department and all levels of firm personnel from partners to global operations team members.
The successful candidate for this role must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as alongside other members of the London and global CD team, to support and advise lawyers in a sophisticated marketing and business development environment. This role is best suited for a high-performing individual with experience in the Tech and/or Life Sciences industry, who is a strong and creative writer and excels at shaping strategic priorities and driving meaningful client impact. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring others, and is eager to make a meaningful impact on client growth and engagement.
