Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategy

  • Lead and implement BD plans for private equity and strategic transactions, aligned with global priorities
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and execute business plans for individual partners and practice groups
  • Identify new client opportunities through research, targeting, and market intelligence
  • Support the integration of lateral hires into the BD framework
  • Drive cross-practice and cross-border initiatives to enhance client engagement

Pitches & Proposals

  • Manage a high volume of tailored, visually compelling pitches and proposals
  • Collaborate with partners and global teams on RFPs and strategic pursuits
  • Track pitch performance and provide insights to improve win rates

Client Communications & Campaigns

  • Lead thought leadership initiatives, including reports, podcasts, and digital content
  • Oversee client communications such as newsletters, legal updates, and announcements
  • Work with digital teams to optimise web and social media content

Directories, Awards & Events

  • Manage legal directory and award submissions to enhance market visibility
  • Plan and deliver high-value client events and sponsorships with a focus on ROI

About You

  • 7+ years’ experience in business development or marketing within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of private equity, M&A, or transactional services
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with a flair for storytelling and content creation
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic direction
  • Highly organised, data-driven, and results-focused
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team
