As part of the Global Operations Team – all business professionals at the firm – you’ll collaborate with colleagues from varied backgrounds and experiences, fostering an environment where cross-functional learning, networking, and collaboration are at the core of what we do.

Here, we’re not just supporting a law firm; we’re partnering with attorneys and clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions in high-stakes litigation and dispute resolution, world-class regulatory compliance and advisory services, and complex transactions. Our commitment to integrity, ingenuity, agility, and ambition drives us, and we’re proud to have been recognised as the “Best Business Team” by The American Lawyer.

This is your opportunity to grow professionally in a dynamic, global environment, surrounded by forward-thinking peers.

Working closely with the Client Development Manager and Senior Manager, the Client Development Coordinator will play a central role in supporting the growth of the firm’s UK Private Equity Industry group. The role will help partners strengthen client relationships, pursue new business and raise the profile of the practice through pitches, targeted campaigns, events, market insight and compelling marketing materials.

This is a varied and highly collaborative role with direct exposure to partners and colleagues across the London and global Client Development teams. The Coordinator will contribute ideas, spot opportunities and help turn the group’s marketing and business development plan into action.

The successful candidate will be a natural relationship builder who enjoys working with people, takes initiative and is keen to learn. They will bring energy, curiosity and sound judgement, with the confidence to take ownership while working closely with others in a sophisticated marketing and business development environment.

What You Will Do:
  • Play an active role in delivering key Client Development priorities for the Private Equity Industry group.
  • Help shape persuasive pitches, RFPs and RFIs for new business opportunities and important client meetings.
  • Bring marketing and thought leadership campaigns to life, using campaign results to identify the next client development opportunity.
  • Keep business development activity moving by capturing opportunities, actions and progress in the firm’s systems.
  • Showcase the team’s experience by maintaining strong deal credentials, matter records and supporting materials.
  • Keep the practice’s story sharp and current across website content, transaction lists, case studies and other marketing materials.
  • Help create and deliver a programme of Private Equity seminars, speaking opportunities, sponsorships and targeted client events, both online and in person.
  • Make key conferences and events count by coordinating logistics, communications, attendee research and partner meeting schedules.
  • Collaborate with the research and market intelligence teams to produce useful insight on clients, prospects and competitors.
  • Stay close to Private Equity market activity, client news and industry trends, spotting opportunities and helping turn them into new business.
  • Raise the profile of the team through focused submissions for Chambers, Legal 500 and other relevant rankings, surveys and awards.
  • Work with lawyers and the Communications team to share the team’s expertise through website content, social media and internal updates.
Who You Are:
  • Undergraduate degree, preferred.
  • Experience in client development, business development, sales or marketing within a law firm or professional services environment is preferred, but not essential.
  • A natural relationship builder with strong social skills and the confidence to connect with lawyers, clients and professional staff.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach, with the confidence to take ownership, contribute ideas and move work forward.
  • Curiosity, sound judgement and a genuine enthusiasm for learning about Private Equity and client development.
  • Effective and professional communication skills, with a positive and collaborative style.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise competing assignments.
  • Strong organisational skills and close attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including web-based research, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or another CRM system is desirable.
