Overview
We are seeking a curious, objective, and analytical individual to manage the global Client Reporting team within an established Investment Management business. This is a permanent role based in our West End office. The Client Reporting team services institutional client and consultant relationships and supports Client Managers in ongoing prospecting and servicing efforts. The role offers meaningful visibility across global offices and exposure to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Manage a small team (3–5 people), remaining hands-on and involved in task completion and quality review.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the client landscape, proprietary tools and resources, and investment portfolios to deliver excellent client service.
- Client reporting and servicing: analyse, review, and maintain client reporting materials including performance, risk measures, portfolio exposures, and fee information.
- Leverage technical and data expertise to support client data requests and own calculation methodologies.
- Lead global projects to refine client reporting and information distribution processes to meet client needs; streamline processes with the technology team.
- Client and prospect relations: prepare and complete RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs with input from subject matter experts; maintain a central library of responses and ensure updates to reflect changes in firm strategies, processes, and policies.
- Create and manage client materials (presentation slides, due diligence questionnaires, investment summaries) and assist Client Managers in responding to client queries.
- Build relationships with global client and operations teams and business units to service clients effectively; manage information provided to consultants and consultant databases.
Profile
About You
- 5+ years of experience with DDQs and RFPs in the financial services industry with a track record of success.
- Experience managing a small team (ideally 1–8 people) and overseeing a team of 4.
- Client-centric attitude with strong ethics, judgment, and ability to collaborate with cross-regional teams.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex matters into clear insights.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate clearly and empathetically with clients.
- Self-starter with initiative, independent and critical thinking to solve problems.
- Learning agility with a growth mindset and willingness to learn new systems and data tools.
Your qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with strong academic record.
- Professional designation such as CFA, CIPM, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred but not required.
