We are looking to recruit a Client Advisor to join our growing successful Public Sector and Education Division based in our Manchester office. Our Public Sector and Education Division is a fast-paced, collaborative, and competitive group of professionals who are all driven to succeed. In this role, you will build good relationships with our clients, showcasing your technical expertise and excellent communication skills. Reporting directly to the PSE Team Manager, you will work with experienced Client Directors to provide outstanding service within the division.
How you'll make an impact
- Create documents for new customers regarding their insurance requirements.
- Obtain renewal terms and research suitable alternatives to produce presentations; account managers discuss these with customers during face-to-face meetings.
- Coordinate all renewal quotes and consider mid-term adjustments.
- Ensure customer details are accurately recorded and entered into the system promptly.
- Manage insurer queries related to customer policies.
- Confirm cover with insurers, process policies, and follow up on outstanding documentation.
- Secure delivery of policy documentation from insurers and verify before approval and release by the Account Executive.
- Handle account queries and credit control matters, highlighting concerns to account managers.
- Understand and apply relevant legal and regulatory policies for internal procedures and insurance contracts.
About You
- Experience in Commercial/Corporate Insurance is desirable.
- Working towards or holding Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications such as Dip CII or FIT is preferred.
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
- Experience working within targets and measurable frameworks, achieving SLAs.
- Risk-aware in handling customer information, recognizing potential risks and seeking advice when needed.
- Proven rapport-building and customer service skills with excellent communication and social skills.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
