Job Description

Our client is seeking an ambitious individual to join their team in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing full administrative support to Investment & Wealth Managers, as well as building relationships with clients to deliver a positive and sleek client experience.

As a Client Administrator at you will be supported to grow personally and professionally, and you will have access to a structured training programme offering training & competency oversight to excel your personal development. Our client encourages continuous professional development via ongoing studying and qualifications, and have a team of experienced Investment Managers and Financial Advisers who you will have the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from.

This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to be in the office 3 days per week.

As a Client Administrator, your responsibilities will include among others:

  • To work closely with the aligned Financial Planners and/or Investment Managers to deliver excellent client outcomes
  • To build relationships with clients and maintain regular contact
  • Liaise with operational teams where support is provided on activities. e.g., scripts, transfers, corporate actions, static data changes, where applicable
  • Preparation of meeting packs and valuations as required
  • Assist investment managers in the preparation of new business pitches and presentations
  • Maintain back-office systems and client records in line with the company policies

Criteria

  • Proven experience working in the financial services industry with investment / wealth management experience or wider financial services experience such as banking.
  • Ambition to build a career within a financial services firm, with a willingness to learn and develop
  • A strong client service ethic
  • Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
  • The ability to fully plan workload and display excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to use judgement and reasoning to propose solutions to problems
