We are seeking a talented individual to join our Fiduciary team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Witham. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Fiduciary Technician, you will be responsible for securing agreement and settlement of balances with our Clients or markets. You will handle & allocate payments and receipts for your own clients, which includes unique lines of business, program structures, and reinsurance reporting requirements.

We will rely on you to:
- Take responsibility for your own workload, including defining cases and addressing related issues.
- Work with a high degree of autonomy on routine tasks, liaising with senior colleagues as needed.
- Partner with Operations Specialists to support root cause analysis and improve processes, protocols, and behaviors.
- Utilize knowledge of processing premiums and/or loss transactions, including cash follow-up and disbursement of funds.
- Liaise effectively with Client Service Support and client-facing colleagues to ensure coordinated efforts.
- Develop and maintain clear working papers supporting investigative work and methodologies used for conclusions or proposals to senior management.
- Support wider CSS activities, including quarterly reviews of potential financial exposures and delivery of key performance targets.
- Support client activities such as transactional processing, follow-up, securing reinsurance recoveries, collateral management, and accurate system entry of client activity.
What you need to have:
- Knowledge of currency transactions, Re/insurance concepts, laws, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA).
- Proven success in client account management, relationship management, engagement, and development.
- Ability to manage workload and set expectations with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong data management and analytical skills.
- Excellent client focus and problem-solving skills, especially in reconciling payment queries.
