Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Manager-level accountant for a respected independent accountancy and advisory firm in the Coventry area. You will manage a diverse portfolio, review statutory and management accounts, and act as the main client contact, delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services.

You will oversee workflows, budgets and deadlines, support clients with technical queries, and identify additional services to grow the firm’s portfolio. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
• Experience at managerial level in an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts preparation and review.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients across industries.
• Review statutory and management accounts prepared by the team.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and provide ongoing support.
• Deliver accounting and business advisory services.
• Oversee assignment workflow, budgets and deadlines.
• Assist clients with technical accounting queries and commercial matters.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services.
