A leading financial services firm seeks an Assistant Manager for their Client Accounting team in Guernsey. The role includes managing financial statement reviews, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing excellent service to clients. Candidates must have strong accounting skills and a relevant qualification or be in training. This position requires residency in Guernsey and a working permit.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of computerized accounting systems.

  • Must be recently qualified with or studying for ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the review of financial statements for clients.
  • Ensure timely processing of fees for financial statement preparation.
  • File Suspicious Transaction Reports with the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

Job description

Our international banking client are seeking to appoint an Assistant Manager to work in their Client Accounting team.

They are looking for a new team member to manage the review of financial statements for a portfolio clients of the Trust Group.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring that a high level of service is provided to the Client Relationship Managers, ensuring that the fees for the preparation of financial statements are processed in a timely manner, and ensuring that Suspicious Transaction Reports are filed with the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

Your qualifications and skills need to include strong knowledge of computerised accounting systems, strong knowledge of the preparation of financial statements for Trusts and Companies, with the ability to work independently, good communication and presentation skills, knowledge of Guernsey's regulatory environment, and you need to be recently qualified with or studying for ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
