Job description

Our client is seeking a Client Accountant to join their Global Accounting team within Governance Services. This full-time role offers the opportunity to deliver accounting services across a diverse portfolio of client entities. You will gain exposure to a range of technical accounts while working in a collaborative and professional environment that encourages development.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of client financial statements under UK GAAP, IFRS, and FRS 102
  • Support the completion of audit processes for clients
  • Generate periodic reports, capital account statements, and net asset valuations
  • Maintain accurate accounting records in client databases including Viewpoint, QuickBooks, and Yardi
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to meet expectations and deadlines
  • Maintain detailed understanding of transactions and communicate regularly with your line manager
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality accounting services
  • Build and develop relationships with clients, auditors, and third-party service providers

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant academic background and preferably part-qualified ACCA/ACA, currently studying, or qualified by experience with up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Practical experience with accounting systems, particularly Viewpoint and QuickBooks, is desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate results
  • Professional, proactive, and service-oriented approach
  • Discretion and sound judgement in handling confidential information
