Client Accountant - Royal Wharf - £30,000 to £35,000 plus bonus

My client, a fast growing and innovative London estate agency, are seeking an experienced Client Accountant to join their team in East London.

Duties:

  • Managing all aspects of financial administration of your client portfolio, being the main point of contact for any accounts related queries.
  • Assist with accounts payable duties, setting up new tenancies, handling deposits and various financial reporting.
  • Responding to enquiries about statements and rents.
  • Essential function of credit control to ensure timely rent and fee collection. Manage deposit releases and set up daily payment schedules.
  • Contribute to finance and tax reporting and provide operational support to the team as required, working in close collaboration with your line manager.

Experience Required:

  • Having worked as a client accountant within an estate agency is preferred; you possess a solid understanding of the industry and the specific responsibilities of this position.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong customer-centric approach, prioritising client needs and satisfaction.
  • Proactive and take initiative to identify and solve problems effectively.
  • Prior use of Veco software would be advantageous.

Hours: 9am to 6pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5.30pm on Fridays. One day WFH / week
