Job Title: Client Accountant
Salary: Basic salary from £30,000 dependant on experience, plus a quarterly paid commission incentive.
Location: 4 Halyard Place, London, E16 2TH

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Client Accountant to join our team in Royal Wharf. The role involves managing a portfolio of clients and being the main point of contact for any accounts related queries. Intermittently, the successful candidate will also assist with accounts payable duties, setting up new tenancies, handling deposits and various financial reporting.

Your Responsibilities as a Client Accountant:

1. Managing a portfolio of client accounts, overseeing all aspects of their financial administration.
2. Responding to enquiries about statements and rents, ensuring timely rent and fee collection through effective credit control.
3. Managing deposit releases and setting up daily payment schedules.
4. Contributing to finance and tax reporting.
5. Providing operational support to the team as required, in close collaboration with your line manager.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Experience as a client accountant within an estate agency, with a solid understanding of the industry and responsibilities of this position.
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong customer-centric approach, prioritising client needs and satisfaction.
• Proactive in identifying and solving problems effectively.
• Prior use of Veco software would be advantageous.
