Job description

Jenson Fisher is delighted to be recruiting exclusively for a permanent Client Accountant position within an expanding organisation based in Glasgow City Centre. This is a full-time role offering hybrid working options. It presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated and diligent Accounts Assistant to join a small, friendly team and advance their career.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional capable of managing multiple tasks meticulously to meet strict deadlines, including assisting with period-end reporting, liaising with landlords and tenants.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts, and compliance with tax obligations.
  • Assist with raising lease charges and reconciling them with rent/service charge demands received.
  • Produce funding requests for clients.
  • Arrange prompt settlement of all sums to landlords via online banking systems.
  • Raise tenant demands for rents, service charges, and ad hoc charges.
  • Assist with credit control activities and arrears reporting.
  • Pay over rent receipts to clients.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc analysis using Excel.
  • Report to clients accurately and on time, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Attend client meetings as required.
  • Work closely with Property Managers to provide relevant service charge information.
Main Experience:
  • Previous experience within the property sector is essential.
  • Knowledge or awareness of year-end accounts and budgets is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
