We don’t just look after buildings, we look after the people who call them home, treating each property as if it were our own.

The Encore culture not only attracts the brightest talent, but also industry recognition as we've been awarded Employer of the Year on many of occasions. Our ambition is to be regarded as the most professional managing agent in the country - with a team of exceptional people who are energised by what they do. Were all about communication, collaboration, teamwork – and having fun while we work. By creating an inviting environment for our people to be inspired, learn and flourish can make all the difference.

The Role:

As a Client Accountant, you’ll be managing the finances of a portfolio of estates, making sure everything runs smoothly. You’ll work closely with our Estate Management team, external accountants, and occasionally, with clients and leaseholders. This is a great opportunity to dive into property management finance and grow your career in a fast-moving company.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Service Charge Budgets: Make sure annual budgets are accurate and loaded correctly.
  • Billing: Handle billing for service charges, ground rent, and other fees to leaseholders.
  • End of Year Accounts: Prepare year-end service charge accounts and work with external accountants for review.
  • Utilities & Insurance: Handle recharges to leaseholders and keep on top of tax admin.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Accounting experience (service charge experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Part-qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA with a desire to continue growing.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills—you’re comfortable dealing with financial information.
  • Great communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (familiarity with Qube is a bonus).
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively across different department.

Why Work with Us?:

  • Great Team Environment: You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team that works hard and has fun along the way.
  • Growth Opportunities: We believe in helping our people grow. With extensive training and development, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to advance your career.
  • Competitive Salary & Perks: We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and a positive workplace culture where your contributions are valued.

We operate a hybrid working model at Encore with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
