Children’s Services – Inclusion Learning and Achievement Division

We are seeking up to two sessional clerks to join a well-established team on a casual basis, working on behalf of the Local Authority as part of a traded service. The main responsibilities include:

  • Clerking meetings for governing boards
  • Providing legislative guidance and advice on Governors’ roles and responsibilities

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Proven experience in clerking governing boards and meeting deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and inspire confidence
  • Flexibility to work evenings and travel to schools for meetings

This role requires an enhanced DBS check and a full employment history, including explanations for any employment gaps, as part of the Safer Recruitment Policy.
