Job Description:
Our client, a Local Council in the Glasgow region, is seeking a Temporary Clerk of Works to oversee housing projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the highest standards of construction for our clients Housing Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and inspect construction work on housing projects to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  2. Liaise with contractors, architects, and project managers to address any issues or discrepancies.
  3. Conduct regular site visits and prepare detailed reports on progress and quality.
  4. Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to on all sites.
  5. Verify materials and workmanship to ensure they meet required standards.
  6. Assist in resolving any construction-related problems or delays.
  7. Provide technical advice and support to the project team.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Clerk of Works or similar role in housing projects.
