Job summary

Brandon James Limited is seeking a Clerk of Works for residential projects across the West and East Midlands. You will manage on-site inspections, identify defects, and record findings while liaising with contractors and stakeholders to uphold quality and programme adherence.

The role requires experience as Clerk of Works or similar quality role, with ICWCI/MCIOB preferred, a full driving license, and strong reporting skills to support the project team.

Qualifications

• Proven Clerk of Works experience on residential schemes.
• ICWCI or MCIOB certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and workmanship.
• Experience in on-site reporting, inspections and defect recording.
• Full driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential projects (apartments and dwellings) across the West and East Midlands.
• Identify defects, non-compliance and areas of concern on site.
• Produce clear and detailed inspection reports.
• Maintain accurate photographic and written site records.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme and attend meetings.
