About You

As a Clerk of Works, you will inspect construction sites to ensure high standards and compliance with health and safety regulations. You will work on-site alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Role Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work against drawings and specifications.
• Measure and quality check building materials, identify defects, and suggest corrections.
• Monitor progress and report to project managers, architects, and clients.
• Maintain detailed records, including photographs and measurements.
• Learn and utilize Field View software for inspections and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Compile data packs with photographs, drawings, and explanatory notes.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety, legal, and ecological standards.
• Work on multiple construction sites as required.
• Prioritize health and safety for yourself and others, adhering to policies and procedures.
• Contribute to improving social and environmental impacts.
• Perform any other duties reasonably assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Significant supervisory experience in construction.
• Extensive knowledge of building and construction practices.
