Job summary

Scottish Borders Housing Association is seeking a Clerk of Works to support delivery of a £77 million development programme, creating 300 new homes across the Scottish Borders by 2028.

You will carry out regular site inspections, oversee safety, and coordinate handovers to ensure defect-free homes for tenants, while building strong relationships with contractors and SBHA staff.

Qualifications

• HND/C or equivalent in Building or substantial relevant experience.
• Significant construction and property experience.
• Attention to quality and detail.
• Experience inspecting workmanship.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Knowledge of affordable housing delivery.
• Full UK driving licence.

Salary: £38,919 - £42,989 per year
Location: Selkirk Office, with travel across the Scottish Borders
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
