Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites and make informed decisions.

Permanent, 35 hours per week, agile working (9:00 - 5:00pm Monday to Friday)

Job Purpose

As a Clerk of Works at Queens Cross Housing Association, you will be responsible for delivering quality inspection services across our Development and Investment programmes. Working closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams, you’ll ensure that projects are delivered in line with design specifications, building regulations, and the Association’s high standards. From overseeing on-site progress to managing post-completion defect inspections, your attention to detail and technical expertise will help us maintain safe, high-quality homes for our customers.

You don’t need to have worked in social housing before—but we’re looking for someone with the right knowledge, experience, and a strong customer focus.
