Job description

Venn Group is working with a growing NHS Trust to recruit a Clerk of Works to effectively support major projects across their sites

Duration: 18 months

Hours: Monday to Friday

Location: London

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure that construction projects are thoroughly inspected to meet specific standards, quality and safety requirements
  • Conduct regular site inspections on projects at varying stages, identifying defects
  • Maintain accurate reports, provide detailed reports on issues and provide analysis on what corrective actions are required
  • Communicate issues to stakeholders and advise on quality standards to be met
  • Liaise between project teams, external contractor / consultants and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Inspect completed works, snag lists, and ensure that any outstanding issues are rectified before final project sign-off and handover

The successful candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of HTMs and HBNs
  • Relevant qualification in construction, building engineering, or related disciplines (e.g., HNC/HND in Construction)
  • Previous experience with construction projects
