Daniel Owen is proud to be representing a well-known social housing company based in the South London area, seeking a highly skilled Clerk of Works/Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team.

The role involves:

  • Providing a Quality Assurance/Clerk of Works service across various projects such as capital and cyclical works.
  • Agreeing on joint quality control procedures with contractors and auditing these procedures to ensure effective quality control inspections.
  • Maintaining a constructive relationship with the contractor's supervisory staff.
  • Examining specifications and drawings to ensure compliance and rectifying any issues.
  • Conducting weekly site visits to ensure materials, standards, and site practices meet requirements, including preparing Health and Safety reports.
  • Inspecting completed work.
  • Preparing specifications.
  • Proven reliability and punctuality.
  • Holding a valid driving license and having access to a vehicle.

Key Knowledge:

  • Experience in Social Housing, Building Contracting, and local authority industries.
  • Proficiency in IT and Excel.
