Isle of Anglesey County Council is seeking a Clerk to support the governing body with essential clerical duties and to coordinate meetings and agendas.
You will work closely with the Chair of Governors and the Head Teacher, ensuring DBS checks are satisfactory and Welsh language skills requirements are met where relevant; the post is governed by a Schedule of Meetings and the Clerk may attend additional sessions.

Support the work of the governing body in accordance with authority guidelines, working effectively with the Chair of Governors and the Head teacher. Provide clerical support.
Appointment subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS.
Contracted Hours:
Maximum of 7 meetings x 6 hours = 42 hours, in addition to this 2 hours are paid for mandatory training and 6 hours holiday pay element (to begin with). The salary therefore is based on a total of 50 hours per annum. The Clerk can claim for Clerking additional meetings.
