Job Description:

Your new company A public services organisation in Northern Ireland is seeking a Clerical Officer based in Magherafelt on a part-time and temporary basis.

Your new role

  1. Provide general clerical duties and support while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  2. Type reports, memos, letters, forms, etc., from manuscript, audio, digital dictation, or notes using a word processing system.
  3. Answer telephone queries and accurately record/process all messages through the online outlook diary system.
  4. Liaise closely with other departments, handling incoming and outgoing enquiries appropriately.
  5. Perform filing, photocopying, use of a Multi-Function Device (MFD), and processing of incoming and outgoing mail.
  6. Carry out reception duties.
  7. Maintain, input, and update computer systems.
  8. Collect and collate statistical information as required.
  9. Monitor and order stationery and office supplies.
  10. Undertake any other duties within the department and grade as assigned.
  11. Provide cover for other clerical staff during absences or high workload periods.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. 3 GCSEs including English and Maths AND 1 year’s admin/clerical experience.
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office/ICT packages.
  3. Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car.
  4. Ability to work in a team, good communication skills, ICT skills, and meet deadlines.
