Overview

An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to undertake the role of Clerical Officer within Health Record Services, dealing with Anaesthetics and Theatres. This role offers scope for learning new administration skills and contributing to a large team while exercising initiative on daily tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Manage workload efficiently, working under pressure to a high standard.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems, photocopying, and updating rotas.
  • Handle emails, telephone calls from patients, and other ad hoc duties.
  • Exercise initiative and confidentiality when dealing with patient and staff information.
  • Adapt to strict timescales within the Anaesthetic & Theatres Department.
Qualifications
  • Previous clerical experience and knowledge of office procedures.
  • Working knowledge of IT applications, databases and spreadsheets.
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a large team and independently.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and initiative in the role.
