Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and dynamic Administration and Reception team at the Head & Neck department at York Teaching Hospital. In this role you will be the first point of contact for our service users and the successful applicant should be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and empathy. Experience of working in a healthcare setting and some reception knowledge would be desirable. Previous experience in an Outpatients setting would also be advantageous.   • Monitor all departmental email inboxes.
  • Receive general enquiries, which could be from patients, visitors, staff and others, acting as the first point of contact.

  • Previous experience in an Outpatients setting would be advantageous.
