Angus Council is seeking a part-time administrative assistant at Tealing Primary School. The role involves data management, financial processing, and reception duties. This job is Workstyle 1 - Fixed
In this workstyle, most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role, there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
You will work 20 hours per week, during term time only (195 days). Your working days will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings, all day Thursday, and Friday morning.
Working in the school office, your responsibilities include inputting data into the SEEMiS database, maintaining and updating pupil records, and processing school funds, including operating the ParentPay system and reconciling the DSM and School Fund budgets. You will also manage SMT diaries and handle incoming and outgoing mail.
You will undertake reception duties as a first point of contact, dealing with queries from parents and carers and utilizing the Groupcall system.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organization.
