Job summary

A regional healthcare provider is seeking an enthusiastic Clerical Officer / Administrator to support clinical services at Aintree Hospital. Responsibilities include administrative coordination of outpatient clinics, managing patient admissions and discharges, and supporting incoming clinical calls. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clerical Officer / Administrator to join our dynamic administrative team. This role plays a key part in supporting our clinical services in a fast-paced, compassionate palliative care environment.

The role is based at Aintree Hospital and provides a full comprehensive administrative support to the inpatient and outpatient clinical services at Woodlands Hospice.

This post is open to employees of the five LAASP organisations. As part of your application, you will be asked to confirm that you are a current employee of The Clatterbridge Centre, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Liverpool University Hospitals, Liverpool Women\'s Hospital or, The Walton Centre.

Job responsibilities
  • To provide quality comprehensive administrative support to clinical services based at Aintree Hospital, Woodlands.
  • Co-ordination of outpatient clinics including booking, confirmation and scheduling of appointments.
  • To provide administrative support to the Woodlands Inpatient Unit including support for admissions and discharges.
  • Co-ordination of incoming calls to Liverpool IMPaCT services, ensuring patients access the appropriate clinical teams quickly and effectively.
