Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking an Administrative and Clerical Support professional to aid clinical and non-clinical staff and ensure smooth service delivery. The role follows a Monday–Friday pattern from 9:00 to 16:30/17:00, with duties spanning reception and administrative tasks across busy hospital sites.

The successful candidate will bring standard grade education or relevant experience, strong customer care skills, and clear communication. Strong organisation and planning abilities are essential.

  • Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care.
  • Excellent communication skills.

The Role

To provide comprehensive Administrative and Clerical support to clinical and non-clinical staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the service. The working pattern for this role is Monday - Friday (9am - 4.30/5pm)

In this key role, you will:
  • General reception duties.
  • Switchboard.
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Photocopying.
  • Faxing.
