Job description

Working in a small administrative team to support a busy hub within the podiatry service. The job involves managing referrals to the service and performing general administrative duties.

Please note we reserve the right to close this vacancy prior to the closing date once the required number of suitable applications have been received.

The main duties include processing applications to the service, ordering supplies, data entry, and supporting the office manager. Additionally, the role involves managing the lone working of community podiatrists daily and assisting service managers in the day-to-day delivery of the service.

We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck, and Hexham, along with smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, covering one of the largest geographical areas of any NHS trust in the country. We are leaders in innovation and quality, exemplified by the opening of the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. Do you want to work in one of the best performing NHS organizations in England?

Work in an organization that supports its staff and prioritizes staff experience as much as patient care. Enjoy living in an area with the cleanest air, cost-effective living, vibrant nightlife, excellent schools, and rich history. Sound too good to be true? It isn’t — this is what you get when you work for Northumbria Healthcare. This is the Northumbria Way! Please read ‘applicant guidance notes’ before submitting your application.
