Clerical Officer

Working in a small administrative team tosupport to a busy hub within the podiatry service. The job involves management of the referrals to the service and general administrative duties.

Main duties of the job

The main duties include the processing of applications to the service, the ordering of supplies, data entry, and supporting the office manager. To manage the lone working of the community podiatrists on a daily basis. To support the service managers in the day to day delivery of the service.

  • To assist in the general efficient running of sub-specialty offices including typing, filing, retrieval and storage of patient records, handling post and dealing with telephone enquiries.
  • To cover for other Band 2 Clerical jobs as required.
  • To act up to Band 3 for short-term absences e.g. annual/sick leave

Qualifications
