Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a Clerical Assistant to join their Community Learning & Development team. This temporary role involves providing essential clerical and administrative support, ensuring smooth operations within community-based offices. The Community Learning & Development (CLD) team are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual to provide clerical and administrative support to colleagues delivering adult learning, family learning and youth work in local communities.

Working within our community-based offices in the South Area (Motherwell & Wishaw / Shotts), you will provide clerical support to the local CLD team. Your main duties will include organising materials and resources, dealing with enquiries, processing orders and invoices, maintaining filing systems and typing.

You will liaise with colleagues, partner agencies and members of the public, including adult learners, young people, families and community groups involved in local Community Learning & Development programmes.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Experience of working in an office environment and using software, such as Microsoft packages, is also desirable.

This post is temporary until the 31st of March 2026.
