Role: Clerical Assistant

Hours: Part-time 15hrs term time (Mondays and Tuesdays) plus inset days

Salary: Grade 4 FTE 24,790 Actual Salary £8,727

We are seeking to appoint an efficient and organised clerical assistant with excellent inter-personal skills, a sense of humour and a proactive ‘can do’ attitude. The ideal candidate should be conscientious, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure within our busy office.

The successful candidate will:

  • Undertake reception duties, liaising with parents and staff.
  • Manage manual & computerised records systems, including Arbor, Early Years Portal, Parent Pay and Prime.
  • Undertake attendance procedures and monitoring.
  • Have excellent level of ICT skills.
  • Require excellent organisation and interpersonal skills.
  • Be committed to joining a happy and effective team working alongside parents, pupils and staff in a professional and appropriate manner.
