CEDARS Short Stay School is seeking a Clerical Assistant to provide administrative support while maintaining records and monitoring pupil attendance. The ideal candidate should be well-organised and friendly, enjoying a fast-paced school environment with students facing various challenges. Hours: 33 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term-time only
Salary: Grade 3 SCP4
Actual Salary: £24,404 per annum, pro rata (actual salary £18,902)
Start date: 1st September 2025
We are seeking a full-time, highly competent Clerical Assistant to provide organisational and administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and the wider school. Responsibilities include monitoring attendance, chasing pupil absences, producing attendance letters and reports, reception duties, liaising with parents and outside agencies, maintaining school/pupil records, and handling financial and purchasing tasks.
The school operates across two sites. We need an approachable and friendly individual who enjoys working in a busy environment. The ideal candidate will be well-organised, flexible, and confident working with children who have a wide range of Social, Emotional, Mental Health, and behavioural difficulties.
