Location: Kilmarnock Academy McIlvanney Campus Sutherland Drive Kilmarnock, KA3 7DF

Salary: £24,333 - £25,353 per year

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Job Description

Provide an efficient clerical support service to all employees within the establishment, and assist in the provision of an efficient front line service to service users in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Requirements

The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a PVG Scheme member or be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update before any formal offer of employment can be made. PVG records are constantly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed prior to employment.

The Individual

This is a permanent part-time, term-time post within Kilmarnock Academy. Working hours are:

  • Week 1: Wednesday 8am - 3:45pm, Thursday 8am - 3:15pm, Friday 8am - 3pm
  • Week 2: Monday & Tuesday 8am - 3:45pm

The full-time salary range is £24,333 - £25,353 per annum. The actual part-time, term-time salary is between £10,435 - £10,872 per annum.
