A leading healthcare provider in Gateshead seeks a proactive individual for an administrative role in the Endoscopy department. The successful candidate will ensure efficient office operations while monitoring waiting lists and managing patient bookings, requiring a friendly approach and solid organizational skills.
We are looking for a friendly individual with initiative and a positive approach to work as part of a team based within the Endoscopy department, QEH.
You will ensure provision of an effective and efficient administration office and reception, which will include working various shifts. There will be a need to actively monitor Endoscopy waiting list and ICE orders using the relevant I.T software systems to enable timely booking of procedures.
Based in the North East of England we provide a range of hospital and community health services from our leading facilities, including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Blaydon urgent care centre and Bensham Hospital, all within Gateshead.

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent and have working knowledge of Microsoft Window package and possess good interpersonal and organisational skills, be a team player and work individually using initiative. A flexible approach to work within the core hours of the service: Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday/Sundays is essential to meet service needs.
