A local government council in Livingston is seeking an enthusiastic Clerical Assistant to support the team at Cedarbank School, which caters to children and young people with additional learning needs. The role requires SSSC registration and a PVG check for working with vulnerable groups. This position is fixed term until April 2026, with 30 hours of work per week across 39 weeks a year.

Cedarbank School is a school which provides children and young people who have additional learning and care needs an opportunity to access high quality learning and teaching. The curriculum is designed and adapted to meet the diverse needs of the individual learners. The school has both a primary and a secondary department.
The school roll comprised of up to 110 pupils, Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher, 2 Principal Teachers, 18 members of the teaching staff and a team of 24 pupil support workers.
