Job Title: Clerical Assistant

Hours: 20 per week

Salary: £11,464.27 - £11,644.15 (Scale 2 pro rata)

Contract: Part Time, Term Time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP after appointment

Responsibilities
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times and work well in a team
  • Record and promote good pupil attendance; manage a busy school office
  • Be numerate with excellent literacy skills and have good working knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Have admin experience in a busy environment and strong time management skills to prioritise a wide-ranging workload
  • Be able to prioritise and adapt to changing demands; participate in training as identified
  • Be able to work with children, young people, parents and families preferably within an educational context
  • Maintain calm, courteous and professional manner; excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
  • Have experience with SIMS (desirable)
