A public health organization in London is seeking an administrative support specialist to assist the District Nursing Service. The role involves managing clinic bookings, supporting office operations, and providing administrative assistance for meetings. Candidates must have a formal qualification in Secretarial or Administration and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our Administration team. The post holder will support the District Nursing Service by providing organisational and administrative support to ensure the efficient operational functioning of the Community teams.
Duties are diverse in range and include management and maintenance of clinic bookings, supporting and facilitating the day-to-day running of a busy office as well as providing admin support to Service meetings. It is essential you possess excellent IT, communication and organisational skills with the ability to work as part of a team and on your own.
You must have a formal Secretarial/Administrative qualification or equivalent office based clerical and administrative experience. You should also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel along with excellent keyboard skills and experience in typing of correspondence. Additional knowledge of NHS payroll systems (SSTS/Optima) and Pecos would be desirable.
You will be expected to achieve the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
