Job Description

PAY AWARD PENDING.

This is a term-time post and the salary will be be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Clerical/Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team.

Reporting directly to the Head Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering an effective and efficient clerical and administrative service supporting the operations of Balloch Primary School.

This is a term-time position offering a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment.

Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess excellent organisational and communication skills.

Interview Date: Friday 22nd August 2025 (AM).

Requirements

This role is considered a Regulated Role under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020, requiring membership with the PVG scheme. Further details can be found here.

Preferred candidates will need to join the PVG scheme or undergo an update check before a formal offer is made.

Responsibilities

The employment for this role is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
