We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Customs Clearance team as a Clearance Broker.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shift pattern: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

What you will be doing:

• Reviewing shipment data to understand customer and regulatory requirements and checking documentation accuracy and completeness
• Using in-house systems to create accurate, compliant clearance declarations
• Contacting customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed
• Resolving routine customer and customs disputes
• Building effective relationships with customers and helping them choose suitable clearance services
• Working within tight deadlines in a busy office environment

What do you bring with you:

• Good team working skills and experience contributing to team performance in a busy office
• Knowledge of clearance principles, import/export processes, regulatory requirements, CHIEF entries, and commercial flights processing (desired)
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and sound numerical decision-making skills within tight deadlines
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills
