The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting a Cleansing Operative to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the Tamworth area. This is a driving-based role requiring a full manual UK driving licence held for at least 2 years.

Duties include cleansing and grounds maintenance, litter picking, bin emptying, fly-tipping removal, graffiti removal, and jet washing as needed. Working Monday to Friday, 07:30-15:30, at £13.05 per hour.

Formación

• Experience in grounds maintenance or manual cleansing is beneficial but not essential.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Cleansing Operative to help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the Tamworth area.

This is a driving-based role, so applicants must have held a full manual UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years.

The role involves a variety of cleansing and grounds maintenance duties, including litter picking, bin emptying, fly-tipping removal and graffiti removal.

The Role

Your duties will include:

• Driving to various locations across the Tamworth area.
• Emptying public and commercial bins.
• Assisting with fly-tipping removal.
• Litter picking and keeping public areas clean and tidy.
• Removing graffiti.
• Carrying out jet washing where required.
• Ensuring cleansing and grounds maintenance duties are completed to the required standards.
• Providing a professional and courteous service to members of the public.
• Working safely and effectively as part of a team.
• Completing tasks within agreed timescales and deadlines.
• Monday to Friday
• 07:30-15:30
• £13.05 per hour
• Ongoing temporary assignment.

Requirements

A full manual UK driving licence held for at least 2 years is essential.

The successful candidate will also have:

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or manual cleansing is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience of bin emptying, fly-tipping removal, jet washing or graffiti removal would be advantageous.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good timekeeping and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• A reliable and hardworking approach.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
