Job Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the world’s most broadly-based healthcare company as a Cleanroom/Packaging Technician. This is a full-time temporary role which involves rotational day shift patterns (06:00am – 14:00pm Mon-Thurs, Fri 06:00am – 11:00am / 14:00pm – 22:00pm Mon- Thurs, Fri 11:00am – 16:00pm) based at their prestigious site in Leeds One (Beeston), paying £17.73 per hour.

We are looking for a Clean Room Technician to join our client on a long-term temporary basis.

As a clean room technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, assembling, and packaging products according to manufacturing procedures. You will also maintain accurate records and documentation related to work in progress and quality checks and inspections.

You will work alongside production supervisors to resolve line issues and will carry out basic maintenance of tools and equipment. You will also perform scheduled and unscheduled cleaning and maintain high standards of housekeeping at all times.

You should have a proven work history in a similar environment or extensive experience in the manufacture, production, and packaging of precision parts.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Expedite W/O’s to agreed day rate / product mix.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Confident in using digital callipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
  • Support Customs/Prototype team with Continuing Care Orders.
  • Receive and pick raw materials to support Leeds legacy made and Continuing Care products.
  • Operate cleaning systems for implants (Hamo and Optimal passivation line).
  • Understand and apply cGMP, hygiene standards, and internal quality systems.
  • Interpret technical specifications and work instructions accurately, using measurement equipment.
  • Prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines respecting health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Develop effective working relationships and communicate well internally and externally.
  • Be flexible to ensure efficient processing of all stores and final packing processes.
  • Perform minor routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the clean and pack areas according to procedures.
  • Dispose of waste correctly and replenish consumables timely.
  • Follow all EHS, Quality, and Finance procedures.
  • Ensure health and safety for oneself and others, reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Cooperate with employer on health and safety duties.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
  • Results and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Practical experience in a clean room environment.
  • Experience working with cGMP standards.
  • Ability to operate computer systems and software like ThinkWorx Navigate, JDE Oneworld, and Worldwide Labelling system.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
