Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in Elstree is recruiting a Manufacturing Technician to support GMP‑aligned production. You will perform manual production tasks, packaging, and batch documentation within a cleanroom, wearing full PPE.

Working hours are 07:30–16:00 Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays (06:00–14:00), totaling 40 hours weekly. Prior manufacturing experience in a regulated setting and knowledge of SOPs are advantageous. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Able to work as part of a cross functional team in a regulated manufacturing setting.
• Background in manufacturing, ideally in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate batch documentation as appropriate.
• Undertake tasks on the manufacturing plan including basic cleanroom maintenance checks.
• Complete transactions on computerized ERP system.
• Inform Senior Manufacturing Technician / Supervisor if allocated tasks are not completed.
• Carry out other duties as allocated outside of the manufacturing process and use own initiative to find / complete other work.
• Complete training of basic manufacturing processes.
• Maintain priorities to complete tasks within timelines.
• Accurate record keeping and good housekeeping.
• Report errors or issues to QA and manufacturing leadership.
• Ensure training records are up to date and Isotrain modules completed on time.
• Alert management to issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate ideas and information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Attend operations department meetings.
• Work cohesively with other team members to achieve target outputs.
• Promote a strong teamwork environment and cooperation across departments.
• Support continuous improvement and waste-elimination initiatives.
