Job summary

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Cleanroom Domestic to join Stockport Pharmaceuticals production unit in Stockport. The role involves cleaning in aseptic, sterile and non-sterile production areas within a clean-room environment, requiring protective clothing and adherence to written procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy are required.
• Awareness of safe working practices.
• Awareness of different cleaning methods.
• Ability to follow a set of instructions / programme of work.
• Safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Previous experience of domestic cleaning.
• Experience adhering to COSHH.
• Previous experience of cleanroom/hospital cleaning.
• Experience wearing protective clothing.
• Demonstrates an enthusiastic approach; reliability and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work early mornings / afternoons / weekends / bank holidays.
• Physical ability to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• The primary function is to clean the production unit's clean rooms following the required training.
• Provide high quality, efficient and effective support to the production team, acting in a conscientious and professional manner.
